Finalist - Security Consultant of the Year 2009
For the fifth consecutive year HS&S have been shortlisted for Security Consultant of the Year at the Security Excellence Awards. HS&S were winners of this award in 2007 and 2008.

This coveted award is presented to “an individual or practice” deemed to have demonstrated excellence in the discipline of security consulting. The judging panel, made up of industry representatives, commended the HS&S team in 2008 for its wide ranging experience, which includes projects such as the Grand Egyptian Museum through to Reading Civic Centre and Islington Academy.
Associate Andrew Sieradzki was at the ceremony in 2008 to collect the award. He said, “Winning a second time shows our standing in this industry and also how far we’ve come within the eight years since HS&S was formed. We couldn’t have achieved this without a team effort and it’s a reflection of the hard work that all of our staff have put in”.
He added “There’s greater awareness both within Buro Happold and externally now, that security strategy must think beyond the building itself, to reflect our clients’ businesses and processes. Within HS&S we consider all aspects of the building process, always with a mind to the bigger picture and that our input will have a lasting effect long after construction has finished.”
